CIC + EM $⊢$ Con(ZF): the consistency of ZF in type theory with excluded middle and no choice
In the type theory of Lean with two predicative universes, from excluded middle as the only assumption and with no axiom (no choice, no propositional extensionality, no quotients), we prove the consistency of $Z F$ , stated outright for a first-order proof system. The proof is formalized.

Counterexamples to Grad's conjecture
For each sufficiently large $N$ , we construct smooth solutions of the magnetohydrostatic equations on embedded solid tori whose regular pressure levels are nested tori, whose magnetic field vanishes exactly on a round magnetic axis, and whose group of Euclidean symmetries, even when isometries reversing the sign of the field are admitted, is exactly the cyclic group $C_{N}$ of rotations through multiples of $2 π / N$ .
