We prove that nilpotent and metabelian products of groups with decidable word problem have decidable word problem. In contrast, we exhibit families of groups with decidable word problem for which their solvable product have undecidable word problem. In doing so, we exhibit hyperbolic groups with undecidable membership problem in its derived subgroups.

Asymptotic completions of preordered semirings
Our main result is that preordered semirings admit completions where such sequences, that we call approximately geometric, become equivalent to geometric sequences, and that existing characterizations of the asymptotic preorder extend to the completion.

A Proof of the Second brick-Brauer-Thrall Conjecture for $E$ -infinite algebras
For any finite-dimensional algebra $A$ over an algebraically closed field, we prove that if $A$ is $E$ -infinite, then the Second brick-Brauer-Thrall Conjecture holds for $A$ .

Symmetry and solvability: Galois groups of equivariant enumerative problems
In this paper we characterize the relationships between all four notions of monodromy in the general setting of quotient stacks, and use these connections to compute all these monodromy groups for all 11 possible automorphism groups of smooth cubic surfaces, as well as for all 12 possible automorphism groups for smooth planar quartics.
