The paper contains the study of noncommutative Burkholder inequalities. We prove that the constant involved is of order $O (p / lo g p)$ when $p \to \infty$ , which is known to be optimal even in the commutative setting. This answers an open problem raised by Randrianantoanina in 2007, and by Junge and Xu in 2008.

Universality of cutoff for the Exclusion Process
Under a fairly general condition on the underlying jump rates, we prove that the Exclusion Process with fixed particle density exhibits cutoff at time $t_{mi x} \sim \frac{1}{2} t_{r e l} lo g N$ , where $N$ is the volume and $t_{r e l}$ the relaxation time of the single-particle dynamics.
